Katie Weibel

Katie takes a personalized, holistic approach to wealth management. With almost two decades of financial industry experience working with clients on managing their money and developing financial roadmaps for all of life’s transitions. She offers the clientele the highest degree of attention and customer service through a variety of financial planning services as every person’s situation is unique.  

After many years of working and building her expertise in the banking and securities financial industry, as a Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, she was Managing Partner of another Independent firm from 2015 to 2020 before Katie opened her own practice, Haven Financial Planning, in 2020. 

At Haven Financial Planning, Katie works with everyone from individuals and families to small business owners, offering tailored financial guidance to align with each person’s individual needs and goals in a nonjudgmental zone. From creating a personal budget to developing a retirement plan through estate / legacy plans, Katie has advised on every aspect of the financial planning journey. Katie is committed to providing clients with critical knowledge, tools, and guidance to take control of their financial futures. 

A significant part of her practice involves working with Estate Planning, before and after death.  Katie will help you align your legacy goals with the proper structures needed in place to achieve them.  She also helps executors, and their families work through the estate complexities after the loss of a loved one by helping to make complicated matters easier transition during a difficult time.  

Over several years, Katie has become a regular guest on WDCX Radio.  She holds an MBA in Finance from Wilmington University and a CFP^® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) and is a registered CDFA^® (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst).  Additionally, she is a graduate of the University of Buffalo’s CEL program.

Katie was honored to be listed in the Business First “Who’s is Who in Banking & Finance” 2 years in a row.

Katie also serves on the Executive Board of Habitat for Humanity Buffalo and serves as the Board Secretary. Affordable home ownership should be made available to as many as possible and is an important mission of hers.
